ORA-07445: correlate a process exception with its trace and workload
An operating-system exception in an Oracle process can terminate a request or background component. Preserve the complete stack and process context.
Environment and inputs: Oracle Database 19c baseline · SQL*Plus-compatible SQL unless RMAN, DGMGRL, ADRCI or a host shell is specified. Check release, patch level, edition and container first.
Start with this diagnostic
Use the stated SQL, RMAN, DGMGRL or host shell and replace sample names with approved targets. DBA and V$ views need authorized catalog access in the correct container. Do not grant broad privileges for an example.
SELECT name, value FROM v$diag_info WHERE name IN ('Diag Trace','Diag Incident');
Read the result
The query locates available diagnostics from a healthy authorized session. The failed process may no longer appear in current process views.
Resolve and verify
Match the incident time, function details and SQL context with patch and host evidence. Escalate to Oracle Support and assess service impact before a controlled recovery action.
Operational precautions
Do not repeatedly restart the instance or remove incident files before packaging the evidence.
