Label the meeting date and paste notes with speaker names only where known. Keep decisions, suggestions and unresolved questions distinguishable. Open your available Microsoft Copilot experience and confirm whether it can read the intended work source.

Extract decisions and actions from these notes. Use Action, Owner, Due date and Evidence columns. Mark suggestions as Proposed, and leave an unrecorded deadline as Not stated.Review the result
Every action must trace to a note. Check that a proposed task has not become an agreed commitment. Record each correction and its supporting source.
If the answer is wrong or incomplete
A speaker mentioning a problem is not automatically its owner. Confirm uncertain assignments with the meeting participants. If the active Copilot surface cannot access the file or app, paste an authorized excerpt into chat. Keep the same review criteria for the text-only workflow.
Practice and completion check
Repeat with one incomplete input. Check the answer against the review criteria, remove unsupported claims and save the prompt with its source version. This workflow has not been verified in a customer deployment.
